Mr Solek: Ile Jesu

The first solo video from the former frontman of the Solek Crew.  The video was shot in London on a soundstage, at Westminster Abbey and on the hills of Hampstead Heath, showcasing Mr Solek's multi-instrumental skills on the guitar and saxophone.  Directed by Ayo Shonaiya.


Trybesmen and 419 Squad: Get Up

The long awaited collabo from the two groups on the Afro Hip Hop tip.  The song was was produced in 6 hours by JJC and Don Jazzy from the 419 Squad and eLDee the Don of Trybesmen, and the video was shot during the production of the song at Backbone Music Studios in Southwark, South East London.  The video also include clips from the groups' joint performance at the Bush Hall.  Directed by Ayo Shonaiya.


Kas: Secret Lovers

First video by the up and coming singer/songwriter Kas.  Boy meets girl at the barber shop but girl has jealous boyfriend.  The video follows the secret lovers from the bedroom to the dance floor (watch out for Kas' abs in this sexy video).

Cameo appearance by producer Don Jazzy. Directed by Ayo Shonaiya.


Diya Ojo: The Sound of Time album videos.

The album Video.  This series of 4 colourful videos invite you to come along and dance to Jelenke music (Jelenke Music), Thank God (Baba Mo Dupe), listen to the new sound of time (Sound of Time) and think about the country Nigeria (Ose Nigeria).  Shot in London, on a soundstage and at various locations.  The Jelenke Dance video also features juju/highlife king Tym Connection performing the intro and rap.  Directed by Ayo Shonaiya.

        


Tony Tetuila: My heart Go Jigijigi

The remix of the song from the My Car album.  Shot in London and Essex.  This is a classic "T & A" video featuring fast cars and hot babes.

Solek Crew: Your Number.

London's hottest Naija band's debut video for the first single off their new album.  The special effects part of this video triplicates the 3 members of the group to make them look like 9 men morphing into one another.  Directed by Ayo Shonaiya.


Segun Blessing: Okiki Lo'n Pede.

The surprise video hit of the summer of 2003 by the Nigerian Juju/Hip Hop star Segun Blessing showcasing his flashy dance moves against the backdrop of aircrafts taking off from London's City Airport.  This video enjoyed massive airplay in the UK and Nigeria.  Directed by Timi Adegbite.


Lady Juliet (featuring Alariwo of Africa): U should've.

Dramatic scenes of love across the ocean, woman in London, man in Nigeria.  Shot on location in Lagos Nigeria and North West London, this catchy song is a favourite in the UK, featuring Alariwo of Africa also as co-producer.  Directed by Ayo Shonaiya. 


Da Trybe: Oya.

The controversial video features ten members of Da Trybe on a basketball court in Lagos, with some friends such as Ruggedman, Sound Sultan and Baba Dee, and of course a few females dancers to buttress the chorus of the song, "Move your butt, shake and bounce, dance for daddy, move like crazy".  Number one requested video simultaneously in Nigeria and the UK (Banned from Nigerian television soon after).  Directed by Ayo Shonaiya.
 


2 Shotz: Thief Ole, Carry Am Go.

First video from the then Trybe Records recording artist 2 Shotz.  The funny video features the cartoon like superheroes "Crime Busters", ridding Lagos city of thieves, high school bullies, CD pirates and fraudulent office workers.  Produced by Ayo Shonaiya.  Directed by Lanre Dabiri.  


Trybesmen : Plenty Nonsense.  

Shot on location in and around Lagos Nigeria over a week, the video highlights (and sometimes trivialises) the many crazy happenings in the twisted metropolis that is Lagos city.  Directed by Ayo Shonaiya.
 


Ola Onabule : The picture.

Shot on location in Bedford, UK.  The black and white short film is about a teenager who kisses his mother goodbye one morning and never returned home, only to be found dead face down at the bus stop later as cars and buses drive past without helping. Directed by Ayo Shonaiya.


Harri Best : Love Slave.

Shot on location and on a soundstage, some parts were filmed along the famous Sloane Street in London on an expensive shopping trip by Harri's "love slave mistress" girlfriend with him in tow carrying the heavy shopping bags.  Directed by Ayo Shonaiya.


Jide Chord : Brown Sugar / Paddy Mi Maalo.

The double video was shot on a soundstage and also at different locations including the Millennium Dome in London.  The video also showcased a lot of African attires worn by Jide and his band and dancers.  Directed by Ayo Shonaiya.
 


Fiesta Ad Campaign.

Concert promo shot outdoors at a studio in London.  The 40 second ad is a fast paced cut and mix of hip hop dancers showing off their moves to a slamming beat.  Directed by Ayo Shonaiya.
