R70 World are the pioneer television content providers for black television in the United Kingdom. Our first television programme, Intro, went on air in April 2003 on the Bright Entertainment Network (BEN TV) and since then we have produced over 12 original programmes and special features for television stations in Africa, Europe and the United States. In May 2005, R70 World made a parallel move from BEN TV with its top rated programmes to Original Black Entertainment (OBE TV Sky Digital Channel 204) also in the UK to produce more original programmes for the station and to further widen our scope to different markets. R70 Television now syndicates its programmes to Nigeria (on 17 stations across the country) and very soon the rest of Africa. After setting up a branch in Lagos in 2007, the television arm of the company is producing original programmes for broadcast in Nigeria and syndication around the world.
